Hi there I'm Kera, a Junior Software Developer at the Met Office, and Code Institute alumna. This page is a placeholder while I work on developing my portfolio site.
I love learning something new every single day when coding, and try to take part in hackathons as often as I can - they are a great way to learn from others, and to give back too! If I'm not participating, I can often be found facilitating a team or juding the projects as part of the hackteam. I'm an active member of serveral coding communities and have recently started writing tech articles on things that I learn or find interesting. I'm currently learning React and AWS.
When I'm not coding, I can be found taking part in one of my many other hobbies:
📚 Reading - I'm a member of Bully Book Club, an instagram book club for people who love reading & Bulldogs!
🧵 Sewing - I'm 11 years into hand sewing an English Paper Pieced quilt using 1 inch hexagons, hoping to be finished in time to enjoy when I retire! 😂
